you should be talking about the lack of honestly and clarity when they hired you, not about the travel. otherwise you will come off as soft.

Or spin it the other way. "I enjoyed the travel, but I'm a creature of habit, I like to be at work by 7am and that just isn't happening if I got off a flight from china 6 hours ago. The amount of time wasted just didn't match what I like to achieve in terms of daily output."

I'd imagine it's too late to correct this in your corrent position. The next time you interview for a position, yes indeed you should ask about travel requirements.
