I've never seen a Tom Ford at last call. First call might have them though.

I don't think there is a "First Call." it's simply Neiman Marcus. They call their outlet "Last Call" just like Saks Fifth Avenue calls their outlet "Off 5th." Unless Tom Ford has a special deal with Neiman, you will probably find a Tom Ford suit at Last Call, but you won't have the selection that you would at Neiman Marcus. I am more familiar with Saks Off 5th and routinely find Brioni, Kiton, Zegna and others there at deep discounts.

When I spoke with the NM store today they said they are having "First Call." This may be a new thing. The SA said they have Kiton, Zegna's... but all over $1,000. I'm not going to spend that much. Do the suits ever go down to the hundreds at a NM store during their Last Call sale?

Where do you regularly shop?

I frequent Neimans near me, and there sales can be great.

Regarding suits, by the time the "last call" comes along the prices for regular Zegna (2K retail) are under 1K, zegna 15 mil (3K retail) $1250.

The best bargains I've found to be were Caruso's which end up being $672 from $1495.

The normal formula is 55% off of retail at the last call price.

Hope this helps

Yes it does. The good thing about NM is they offer a lot of suits which are canvassed.

The tend to run two sales a year there that are classified as "last call" before left over items are actually sent to NM Last Call stores.

I used to date a girl that worked at a NM and they get 70% off (which I routinely reaped the benefits of as she made a ton of purchases "as gifts for her dad"). Worst comes to worse you can start banging a Neiman's girl and hope that she is comfortable buying a bunch of stuff for "her dad".

I caught one beautiful Tom Ford SC in a great brown cashmere. Price was $2,250 marked down from $4K.
