I'm not crazy about either.

For work or home? Work I'd go numbers - easier to read. Home I could see going with the lines.

I have lines on my watch so I'll say lines.

Between the 2, the model with lines only is much more appropriate to the design imo. The longer lines balance the skinny hands and thin bezel and serve the minimal aesthetic better. The numbers just clutter the dial and set the face off-balance. For numbers, I like this Junghans better, but I think it is no longer in production. In terms of similar styles there are also the Mondaine Railway clock for chunkier lines/hands, or the Arne Jaconsen Banker's and City clocks.

I am partial to the one with lines. You really cannot go wrong with either.
