F/S: Vintage Black Ostrich Leather Checkbook Wallet

SOLD Bought this years ago from an estate sale but never used it. Marked" Verne. Genuine Ostrich. So. Africa". Black in color. Checkbook-style wallet. Right side has 5 credit card slots and two sections for cash/receipts. Left side is for the check book. Only flaw is it has the PO's (woman's) name embossed onto the inside left of the wallet. Should come off relatively easy as some of the gold lettering is already fading. I bought the wallet in about 2002 and the woman was quite elderly and was downsizing. If my memory serves me correctly, she said she bought it in the late 70's from Neiman Marcus. It's in amazing shape for it's age. No wear on the leather. Small split can can be easily stitched up where the bottom of the checkbook would go. Was $40, now $30 shipped - NOW SOLD Measures 7" by 3 3/4" .
