How does this grey suit brown shoe combo look? - Page 7

Invest in some good tan brogues, I personally have the Loake Chesters and love them. People think good shoes are expensive but it's the opposite, a good pair of shoes will last at least 20 years wih care and resoling whereas cheap shoes will break or look cheap within 6 months.

Loake are my favourite but there are also other makes like Church and Cheaney etc. I used to wear Cheaneys but prefer the Loakes as they have more contemporary designs.

Get rid off those shoes. Also I would consider getting a darker suit for weeding. I think solid Navy suit is the most versatile. Grey suit is too Monday to Friday for me.

I still think black shoes is better.

instead of brown, burgundy.

imo, shoes are decent enough for running errands, walking the dog, a walk to the grocery store etc.

Does that mean you have 100 $100 watches? Because that's the same thing you're saying with your shoes. I think it's hilarious when I see someone conspicuously consuming something to make some kind of "value statement," when they're oblivious to the totality of their message. Put it this way, only those as myopic as you will be impressed by your Rolex and your "german auto" if you can't bother to pay attention to the rest of your attire.

And before you say you're not trying to impress anyone, if that were actually the case, you wouldn't care enough to ask anonymous people on the internet about your suit and shoe combination. We all care what others think and there's nothing wrong with that.

personally, i learned a lot read this thread. So, thanks to you all. The AE Strands in walnut are gorgeous shoes.
