Half to full price seems the norm.

I stand corrected, thank you.

I'll take it as is, but would prefer it on a comando sole. Just let me know where to send my money. This is on the top of my list for next shoes.

I have the JCrew version in #8, but I need a 9.5E. I'm uncomfortably in a size 9.5D since JCrew only sells D widths. Would love to get these in cigar as shown, but would do ravello, whiskey, #4, or even #8 (since I could get the right size). My guess is that the JCrew version is very popular. I've been surprised that no on has attempted to just add a comando sole and sell it as their own.

This is where it all breaks down. I finally know my size in Barrie. I had to sell my leffot day trippers because of the grant last fit (10d). I'm only in for Barrie.

it's tough to get enough people to agree on a Barrie-lasted MTO. Alden already offers so many different RTW options on the Barrie, so most people here usually want something a little more uncommon, like Leydon, Grant, or Plaza.

That's not surprising; the Barrie seems to accommodate a wide range of feet without looking like a total blob.  The Plaza/Hampton/Leydon lasts have been tricky for me.  I'm still not sure what size is best.

I'm in as long as it is Barrie or Trubalance lasted. I can go either way on command soles.

Is it too late to join?

Which make up are you inquiring about?  I would say there's plenty of time.

** I would be interested in this with a commando sole. Would prefer speed hooks on the top half, but I could live with eyelets.

I need a shoe (or two) for climbing Kilimanjaro next year. Shell seems like a good choice, but feel free to tell me otherwise.

Anyone know what the approximate price would be, and will shipping be available to Australia? I'm new to Alden MTO.

Thanks all,

Stuart

Shell doesn't seem like the best type of shoe to wear for climbing Kilimanjaro IMO. You'd be better off wearing a proper hiking shoe for something like that.
