Ralph Lauren "Rivington" Monk Straps 10D SOLD Color: chestnut Manufacture: Italy Retail: $550 Composition: leather soles, lining, and uppers Sizing: Will fit a US 10D or small 10.5 I purchased these new off of the forum. The previous owner had bought them, only tried them on at home. and kept them stored. He had had taps installed on the heels and toes, but the soles were brand new and hadn't touched the street, and the uppers had a little creasing from try-ons. I had the taps removed (that is the ghosting you see on the soles -- merely cosmetic) and wore these on the street no more than 3 times, stored with trees. As you can see, the soles have minimal wear and the footbed is clean. I've bought a few other pairs of monks, so these will go. The color is a brownish-chestnut, not quite cognac, but more chestnutty and is quite at home here with this casual single monk shoe. The buckle is an aged brass. I didn't see these fresh out of the box, but they seem to have by design a slight antiquing effect to them. The toes in particular have a patinaed look. Color is not as ruddy and red as picture 1, but is closer to picture 2. I don't think these are being made anymore. Will ship with new Saphir/RIder Boot Co. shoe bags.
