This thread contains a mix of new and gently used items: shirts, ties, pants, shoes, and a suit. Summary: High-end PRL dress shirts, 15.5-33 Valentino and NWT RLPL ties NWOT/gently used Inco for Zegna 30, 34 khaki cotton pants; Saks Fifth Avenue mainline navy cotton pants, 30; Mabitex and PRL-Italy grey wool pants, 30 Vintage v-cleat Cole Haan brown pebble grain plain toe bluchers, 9D Alden for BB unlined shell cordovan LHS penny loafer, 9D NWOT Corneliani solid navy suit, tagged 40S (but may work for an R too). Except for the vintage Cole Haan PTBs, all used items are from my own closet and were purchased new and worn only by me. All items are in impeccable condition. New items without tags are exactly that: never worn, but without tags. I've done several "closet cleaning" type sales, and many members can attest to the quality of my pre-owned items. I accept Paypal. Prices include shipping in the CONUS; I'd prefer not to ship internationally, but might consider working something out. First to pay wins the item. Buyer is responsible for insurance, and I'm unable to accept returns. I've provided approximate measurements for items where appropriate. Shirts

1. Polo RL size 15.5-33 white workhorse dress shirt. Beautiful fine white broadcloth, shell buttons, "Estate" spread collar, barrel cuffs--higher end line with cursive script, retail $145. This is tagged "Classic Fit," but I had it slimmed down considerably in the arms and body; it's slimmer than a Custom Fit of the same size in terms of chest and body, and is best for someone who wears a slim 40 and is trim around the waist--more of an athletic tapered fit. High armhole. I've provided more detailed measurements for your convenience. Gently used and in excellent condition--worn only a handful of times. $50 $45 Shoulder: 18" Chest: 22" 2" below chest: 20" Waist (slimmest point of body): 18.25" Sleeve: 24.25" Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
2. Same as above (I have two of these). Gently used and in excellent condition--worn only a handful of times. $50 $45 Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
3. Polo RL Regent Custom Fit size 15.5-33 white with fine self-stripe fabric. Shell buttons, "Regent" spread collar, french cuffs--higher end line with cursive script, retail $145. High end custom fits with sized sleeves no longer exist, so don't miss your chance to snap one up! I removed the tags, washed and ironed this, and never wore it, so as new condition. $65 $60 Shoulder:18" Chest: 22.5" Sleeve:24" Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Ties

4. NWOT Valentino tie. Bought this, removed tag, never worn. A nice muted red color with fine white stripes. Impressive construction--soft hand, robust dual bar tacks, self keeper sewn into the spine of the tie. Made in Italy by Esse SpA. 3.5" across the blade. $50 $45 $40 Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
5. NWT RLPL tie. A very lightly lined, untipped soft construction in a beautiful solid brown silk twill. I recently bought a tie that turned out to be almost exactly the same, so this one should probably go, as much as I love it. RLPL ties now retail for $185. One corner of the keeper is a bit loose, but not falling off--just want to be fully transparent. If it does come detached, it's an easy fix. 3 3/8" across the blade. $85 $80 Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Pants

6. NWOT Inco for Zegna classic stone cotton chinos, EU46/US30. These are really awesome pants, with contrast piping/pickstitch detailing on the pockets. Split, curtained waistband, belt keeper, three button closure. Zegna label cut, all other tags intact. A nice medium weight cotton. Generally, Inco for Zegna cotton pants, IMO, are far superior to many of the Mabitex cotton pants. $75 $70 $65 SOLD Waist: 15.5" Rise: 10" Ankle: 8.25" Inseam: Unhemmed (36") Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
7. Inco for Zegna khaki cotton chinos, EU46/EU30. Extremely soft, brushed cotton fabric. All the details you'd expect from this make. Split, curtained waistband, belt keeper, three point closure. Zegna label cut, all other tags intact. Light-medium weight. Gently worn, in excellent condition. $45 $40 SOLD Waist: 15.5" Rise: 10" Ankle: 8 3/8" Inseam: 29" w/ 2" cuff and another 1" inside Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
8. Saks Fifth Avenue mainline (not outlet) navy cotton chinos, US30. Extremely soft, brushed cotton fabric. The make on these is quite nice, and give little up to the Incos and nicer Mabis I've seen and worn. Curtained waistband with striped shirting fabric, three button closure (one button is a bit loose, but easy fix). Italian fabric, pants made in Canada. Lined to the knee. Gently worn, in excellent condition. $40 $30 Waist: 15.75" Rise: 10.25" Ankle: 8.75" Inseam: 29.5" w/ 2" extra inside (plain hem)

9. Mabitex grey wool single pleat trousers, US30. A lightweight super 100s worsted wool. I really like the fit of these--slim single pleat pants are underrated. Curtained waistband, three point closure. A great workhorse pant. Worn a handful of times, in excellent condition. $85 $80 $75 Waist: 15.75" Rise: 11" Ankle: 8.25" Inseam: 29.5" w/ 2" cuff and 1" extra inside
10. Polo RL grey wool "Dalton" dual pleat trouser, US 30. Lightweight virgin wool. Made in Italy by Corneliani, awesome construction with split curtained waistband, horn buttons, and suspender buttons. A more classic fit. Another great workhorse pant. Worn a handful of times, and in excellent condition. $80 $75 $70 $65 Waist: 15.5" Rise: 11.75" Ankle: 8.75" Inseam: 29.5" w/ 1.5" cuff and 1" extra inside.
11. NWOT Inco for Zegna dark khaki cotton chinos, EU50/US34. Lightweight and very soft brushed cotton fabric. Split curtained waistband, three point closure, pickstitching details, belt keeper. Zegna label cut, all other tags intact. $75 $70 $65 Waist: 17.25" Rise: 10.25" Ankle: 8 3/8" Inseam: Unhemmed (36")
Shoes
Quote:
12. Vintage Cole Haan V-Cleat brown pebble grain plain toe bluchers, 9D. A really great vintage shoe; they don't make them like this anymore! Robust original V-Cleat heel, storm welt, double leather soles. One mark of the quality--though the shoe uses a 360 degree welt, the heel is cut closer to the shoe. Really superb condition. This is the one used item that I did not purchase new--such vintage items are hard to come by new in a size like 9D. You'll get years out of them. $85 $80
Minimal sole and heel wear:
13. Alden for BB unlined black shell cordovan LHS, 9D. These need no introduction--the classic American penny loafer. I purchased these new a while back, installed heel and toe guards, and have worn them gently. I really like these, and would not be averse to keeping them, but would also like to pare down my shoe collection. Tons of wear left in them. Note the almost non-existent rippling in the uppers, even sans shoe trees. In the interest of full disclosure, the original seller dyed these shoes black; I didn't notice any issues upon initial receipt, and wearing them (along with brushing/polishing and application of Venetian Creme) has not exposed any either. These will come with box and bags. $270 $250 $235
Again, very little sole and heel wear--especially given the toe and heel protectors.
Suit
Quote:
Corneliani solid navy suit, super 110s "extra fine merinos" 100% wool. It's tagged as a size 40 short, in the Spencer cut (softer shoulders, slimmer body). I had this altered (collar lowered, sides slimmed, pants slimmed) by a local tailor who also does bespoke work; the quality of the alterations is fantastic. I then never wore it (save trying it on), and thus it is in NWOT condition. Fabric is great, would obviously make an ideal starter suit. The jacket is 3 r 2.5 (with a beautiful lapel roll), flap pockets, double vents; has pickstitching, and of course, is fully canvassed (you can check out the lapel padding stitches in a detail shot). The pants are single pleat, slim but not skintight cut, with a pickstitched fly, curtain and felled waistband, and 1.75" cuffs; one pant button has come loose, but will be easy to reattach. They are really nice quality pants. I bought this suit NWT, but the pants came pre-hemmed--I had them let down, and due to the way the tailor did this, they may not be able to be let down further; you'd have to check. The price takes this into account. I'd say the jacket is on the longer side of S, and thus might work for someone who is between S and R. I usually take an S, and found that this cut worked for me. $400 $380 Measurements: Jacket Chest: 21" Shoulders: 18.5" Sleeve: 23.5" (w/ 1" extra) Length: 29.75" Pants Waist: 16" with at least 3" extra Ankle: 8.5" Inseam: 29"
