Both pairs are now sold, thanks for looking

Let my sizing miss-steps be your gain! And thanks for looking.

1. SOLD Alden for Leathersoul Ultimate Indy, Kudu Leather, Commando soles, Trubalance last, Size 10.5D

Great boots, in great condition. I wore them maybe 3-5 times before admitting to myself they were too big for me. Since they have been worn (outside), they do have some minimal wear, and slight creasing, though they've never been wet and I've stored them with trees.

If you're not familiar with the Kudu leather used, it's a nice well-oiled "chocolate" color, which in sunlight warms up and in darker situations can almost look black. They look great with anything. More pics and description at Leathersoul.

Originally $475 + shipping.
Asking SOLD USD shipped in continental US.

2. SOLD Alden for Winn Perry "Little Tanks", Reverse Chamois "Earth", Crepe soles, Barrie last, Size 10D

I just picked these up from another SF member a week or so ago thinking they'd fit like my 10D Indys, but the Trubalance last in the Indys is just way big - turns out a 10D Barrie is too small for me. The common wisdom is these run about 1/2 size large, which seems correct (I wear an 11 in most shoes, so I'd wear a 10.5 with Barrie).

These are in good condition, with standard wear. They're "Earth" colored, which while technically dark brown generally appear as a black/charcoal. The crepe soles are super-comfy if you're not familiar with'em.

More on the leather from Winn Perry's description: "Inspired by roughout boots of the the 1st and 2nd World Wars, the Reverse Chamois Boots, or Little Tanks, are Winn Perry's all weather boot. The Horween oiled chamois leather is turned to it's roughout side for ease of care and wear tolerance. As soon as you beat up these boots, clean them out, oil them, and brush them and they will be no worse for wear." More pics and description from Winn Perry here.
