Hmmm...I wear a lot of cutoffs -- mostly khakis/fatigues just cuz i'm cheap, and the appeal of cutoffs to me is the IDGAF-ness. Cuffing shorts seems to run against that. Jean shorts can be OK the most casual of situations provided they're not too tight...YMMV, of course.

Thanks. Yea, I wear cut offs a lot in the summer (basically old trousers) so I figured I'd try this out.

This made me lol. I figured people cuff their jeans to show the selvedge line, and I had a pair of JCrew Franks that were getting ZERO wear (don't know what I was thinking when i bought these) so for $18 I'd have them hemmed and cuffed...
A buddy of mine wears his old 511s as cutoffsd and they look cool (not your typical "jean short") which gave me the idea. Those aren't cuffed though.
