company achieved several milestones this year... it's a company celebration the company is a 2-year old startup in San Francisco, though. Kind of a different fashion crowd than New York

Formal wear would probably be awkward, but an orphaned suit jacket usually looks douchey or thrift store-y. Skinny black suit if you have one, otherwise an actual blazer w/dark denim.

just got back.. wore a striped blazer (suit jacket), brown slim-fit chinos, checker-pattern dress shirt and checker-pattern pocket square. Received many compliments on dress. But I would've been just as fine with the white jeans. People showed up wearing all sorts of stuff.
