Affordable alternative to Belstaff

post #1 of 31

Hi All, I'd like to get the opinions of forum members on this leather motorcycle jacket. I'd like to know if any of you guys would consider buying one (hypothetically you understand !) Styled on the iconic Trialmaster made by we all know who...Cough-Belstaff-Cough, this is intended as a cost effective alternative at just £160 shipped to your door ! (and that's anywhere in the world too!) Real leather, antique brass poppers, double YKK zipps. Finished in a waxy black leather. The bonus is each jacket can be custom made to suit your size - so if you want longer arms or shorter length - no problem. Love to get some opinions - before I spend £££ on a website etc Any members interested in ordering I'd be willing to discount to £135 and that includes shipping. I can help with sizes etc so just PM me Key sizes are; - Pit to Pit: 58cm - Sleeve - Shoulder to end of sleeve: 65cm - Length - 75cm - Across Shoulders 49.5cm

Brown is not a problem; I'm waiting for some leather samples from the factory. Here's a pic of the 'Brad' style in tan. or heres the Trialmaster in dark brown; or the Cougar;

I'd be in for a Panther Timeless jacket in brown. I missed out on the run of those and am regretting it ever since.

The Cougar looks great. I'm interested.

I would be interested in the Cougar or the Brad in a dark brown with snaps in brushed silver.

Could be interested but would like to read some tests first from buyers

Hi All, I'm pleased this post has had a positive response and thanks for all your interest so far. I will work out a size chart and post on this forum. I'm expecting samples of leather and product from the factory over the next few weeks. As soon as I have more news and photo's I will post here. Each jacket is made to order so it's possible to change features if required. This may affect cost so I would need to get back to you. Thanks all. Further to the post below I will put any updates in the original posting.

I'd recommend not posting replies to keep mods from deleting the thread - although the thread is at the top right now (therefore not being bumped by you), it's best to simply edit your original post and make it clear what is being added.

I'd like to see where this goes.

It may also be worth putting this in SWD or MC, although it is a thread looking at sales, its function will be more like a discussion/project thread. Bumping rules and lack of attention may cripple the idea which could be very good.

That Tan brad looks awesome! If you can make it slim enough, I'm VERY interested!

You've been shilling this forum since last year. In fact before this recent spate of thread opening two members had posted about not receiving any contact after they had made payment. What's the dig man?

If you reply to the thread instead of editing the original post the thread might get deleted by the mods. Also, I am very interested.
