The Uniqlo Thread - Page 643

Those flannels looking so damn strange but at the same time kind of appealing. Will check them out in person tomorrow. Loving the camo one.

Also for those that like polo I bought these two last week and they are so comfy and slim. Perfect fit.

The gray has a neon and white color strip on the neck and sleeves and the darker gray one has teal blue and white color. Very nice for casual wear. At $5.90 it's a steal.

Went to Uniqlo this past weekend. Didn't see the patchwork fleece or the camo flannel otherwise I would've checked them out.

Got the purple flannel:

Fit isn't bad. A little bit bigger in the shoulders and chest compared to the slim fit oxford in the same size. There is also less taper in the waist and it's longer, a little long on my 6' frame. I will probably try shrinking it in the dryer. Material is good for the price.

Also checked out the floral chambray shirt. It fit looser than the flannel I mentioned above. It also didn't drape as well on me but that is probably due to its thinness whereas the flannel has some heft to it.

Got the overdyed black slim fit jeans to replace the T000s I had gotten based on recs here. The T000s fit fine but were basically leggings on me throwing off the proportions of what I wear. The thighs aren't tight at all on but the taper of the leg to a small leg opening makes me look very top heavy. I still can't see how the bigger guys on the forum can wear them. Maybe it's because my legs are skinnier than those posters or it has to do with my drop?

The materials on the slim fit isn't as nice as the T000s but it's not a huge difference. The difference in the pants probably has to do with the polyester in the slim fits. They're decent for the price.

What's up guys. New to the forum but been lurking for a while. Question on the slim fit jeans, I'm a size 31 in levis so how should I size in these? 30 or 31? Just don't know how much they'll stretch out.

That camo flannel is pretty fantastic.  The patchwork flannels look to be inspired by the "go to hell" preppy aesthetic.  At least you can get away with it a little more easily when it's framed in the context of a soft, casual shirt you probably don't care too much about when wearing.

Frankenstein flannels lol

The purple/black flannel is nice though. That is Uniqlo's main flannel every year.

Essentially you have 30 minutes to checkout once you click "checkout", this virtually puts the items that are in your basket onto the "checkout till" so to speak, at this point the items are yours. If you go back, which in turn cancels this process, the system will still think the items are in the process of checking out, if you grabbed the last one of that item and checked out with it, and then you go back to the item's page it will show out of stock.

However, if you do not checkout within 30 minutes i.e. pay, then within an hour the item gets put back out on the shop floor for others to put in their basket. I have been caught out in the past, going back from the checkout stage, and then having to wait an hour before the item gets put back on the virtual shelf, which then allows me to readd it to my basket and checkout again.

That's exactly what I went through last night. Thanks for the detailed post. nod[1].gif

Wish they had my size...

Had to throw out a couple pairs of slim fit jeans yesterday. I hadn't read the tags and had dried them in the dryer two weeks ago, and these jeans had gotten much slimmer. Bummer.

Yea they def shrink down a considerable amount if dried, I hang mine to dry esp since I don't really want the coating on the black pair to fade completely
