It would be different if I was in NY and could try on a bunch at once, but it's making it a pain to order them online.

To be clear, these shirts were all the same s/s oxford model, but in different colors.

I still want to try a s/s linen, but otherwise am about to give up on Uniqlo button ups.

Only with the oxfords. They changed them over time.

The new ones have a small colored strip below the collar.

How do you find them comfort wise?

I only have one, but was pretty comfortable in it on Monday when it was 95 here in NY. I would size up though. The medium fits like a small in their heattech.

Does anyone know if the gray airism v neck is light enough to not peak out through white/light color dress shirts? Or does it need to be more of a heather gray?

To me, it is abit too dark for a white shirt.

Is there much quality difference between the Dry Packaged vs Premium Cotton t-shirts? The Premium cotton is nearly double the price, just wondering if it is worth it?? Can someone recommend a better quality v-neck for a similar or less price? I am in the UK where the Premium cotton T-shirt is 15 USD

Has Uniqlo ever made Airism V-necks in this color that they offer in another airism product?  http://www.uniqlo.com/us/store/lifewear/men-airism-mesh-v-neck-sleeveless-t-shirt/077577-03?ref=mens-clothing%2Fcollections%2Fmens-airism-collection

Would make sense if they did so that the V-necks can be worn as true undershirts

Genuine question...why do guys wear t-shirts under oxfords/button down dress shirts?

Mainly to preserve the actual dress shirt as sweat can ruin it.  It's much easier to replace a cheap undershirt than a dress shirt.

If you wear an undershirt it soaks up the sweat too to an extent instead of soaking right onto your dress/sport shirt.

it's a carryover from when you're a kid and you wear an undershirt with badly fitted dress shirt (oversized) with scratchy fabric because it helps with the fit and feel of the fabric and you don't like to wash your shirts as much as your undershirts.

something you should grow out of when you're 18 or at least 22, but not everyone does.

yeah but i hate it when they wear crew necks that show, rather than wearing v necks as pure underwear (invisible)
