Should I get the same size in the slim straight jeans as I do in Levis 511s?

US/UK sizing labels are just relabelled Asian ones when referring to like for like products. For example:

US/UK XS = Asia S
US/UK S = Asia M
US/UK M = Asia L
US/UK L = Asia XL
US/UK XL = Asia XXL

You are correct about the chest size, but the sleeves are different. Asia L sweater has shorter sleeve by 3cm than US M sweater, for instance.

^True for button ups as well. Asian versions are shorter in the sleeves for sure.

Agreed I only buy uniqlo when I'm in Japan / china. But I'm pretty sure the more recent stuff is pretty much the same now since my us medium Oxford fits the exact the same the Japan large

Fit and finish is pretty damn good, but Im not a big fan of the button collar but it will work. I tried on both a M and a S (6' 155), you youngsters would prefer a S but I bought mediums but honestly could have gone either way.

Fabric isnt bad also...it's relatively thick but not heavy.

Do you notice a difference in the Japanese and Chinese sizing? I remember I used to wear an L in uniqlo Japan but when I wear an M in China and an S in the States. So confused by the different sizes.

At 130lbs, small would be better. I wore them for undershirts when I was ~145.

They don't shrink much.

Chino shorts just went on sale for $19.99 and oxfords are still on sale as well.

^ I recommend the twill cotton shorts instead ($12.90). The 5th Ave. store has them in a bunch of (awesome) colors.

^are the twill cotton ones like the ones from last year with the elastic waistband? I would buy a ton of those, my wine colored pair is one of my summer go-to's
