Premium T's fit slim in the shoulder and sleeve but more loosely in the body but not too loose. Would not size down. I wear a large for 41" chest and probably wouldn't want it any slimmer.

I have a 40" chest, 31" waist and wear a size small since they run big, but lately they've been getting tight in the chest/shoulders. Last time I ordered a premium cotton shirt, they ran quite a bit smaller than the dry packaged.

40.5" chest 32" waist 18" s2s. Premium T Medium. Hope that helps.

Edit: Oh the dry packaged fit way larger. I had to shrink those in the dryer for a better fit.

It depends on what you are looking for.

Regarding the T-Shirts.

I bought one of the $6 dry-packaged ones the other week, washed it, and it fits really great. Perfect length, but the sleeves are just a tad longer that I would like. Not too tight in the chest or shoulders. You are correct about them being thin though.

I want to try out the premium Ts as well. If I'm a XS in the dry-packaged, should I get a S in the premium them? Or just stick with XS.

XS. Premium seem to run slightly larger IMO

How has the fit on the short sleeve button downs been? I bought a linen long sleeve shirt earlier this year, but the torso and sleeves were two sizes larger than the collar.

I got the white slim fit oxford large delivered today (to replace the medium that didn't fit) I did also take the medium back out of the box before sending it back to take the pit to pit measurements it was just shy of 19" pit to pit.  The large I got today measures about 21" pit to pit and seems to fit much better overall no pulling anywhere not tight nor loose anywhere.  Again my measurements are 5'10" 38" chest 163 pounds, normally mediums aren't a problem for me.  Wonder if for future orders I should stick to large, or just anything slim fit go up a size I'm thinking about a few t's and maybe that extra fine Broadcloth check that's on sale right now.

Does anyone like the dry polos? I tried the ones that are 100% cotton and the fit is pretty good. More styles and colors in the dry, wondering if I should still avoid it.

Its collar stays in shape better than 100% cotton one, I think.
