Anyone tried the basic sweatshirts?

EDIT never mind the only sane colors are sold out.

Flannels are 12.90 in store. 5th ave, at least, actually has sizes, not just the usual wall of XXL.

Okay, so I got the green, khaki and navy slim fit oxfords in.  I now have the original "regular" fit oxford, the grosgrain "regular" fit oxford and now the "slim fit" oxford (with grosgrain).

My reactions.

+ awesome colors.  out of the box, they really reminded me of my overdye'd oxfords from gitman vintage (at 5x the price)

+ material has a good weight to it.  I would even say borderline beefy.  I don't think anyone can say thin or summer weight.

+ fit compared to the regular oxford is definitely slimmer--no box pleat.  it's just slimmer overall, but would definitely not size up.

+ i sized down to a small on the "grosgrain" oxford and, in comparison, the slim fit in M chest/shoulder has slightly more room and the medium sleeves are much longer.  body length is the same.

+ i liked them so much that i immediately went online and got the M in the grey, white and blue.

This might be a little confusing since I'm comparing 3 fits with also different sizes...but just my thoughts.

Is it common for Uniqlo shirts to be inconsistent in sizing? I bought 3 oxford shirts a year ago. One of them is nearly a full size smaller than the others and I cannot button the neck button...

You're always gna run into lemons with fast fashion. It's not terribly bad with uniqlo tho, but yes it does happen.

Their return policy is pretty lenient too.

if that is the worst thing that happens to you when buying online, you are gonna be just fine.

I bought a pair of unreturnable boots for $1k that turned out to have a horrendous squeak that I cant stand and consequently I never wear them. They just sit there now, mocking me.

Pretty much exactly 21.5 slim medium
thanks dawg, that'll work

to be honest, i kind of like the box pleat bc it's a signature oxford feature and it looks odd without one

i'll decide saturday or maybe I'll just keep all of them, wish they were a bit thinner as they are pretty substantial for socal

what are the "grosgrain" oxfords? I see only oxfords on teh site
post #8174 of 11548
they have a grosgrain strip on the inside collar, just use the word as a reference since that describes the new ones that were released dl
post #8175 of 11548
The regular oxfords with a stripe inside collar. I believe they were slightly more roomy in the chest and shoulder, so I was able to size down for a nice slim fit, BoO style, but longer
