The Uniqlo Thread - Page 540

I think the earthy tones are a great departure from the pastel colors that OCBDs traditionally come in. Ordered all three.

They do have a Tiffany-esque mint in the traditional fit oxfords this season.

Yeah, you're right, just not for me. You guys that picked them up should post some fits when they arrive.

And I'm assuming the US regular OCBDs come with that sloppy large collar so pass.

How are the linen longsleeves?

I just got in the pair of light grey cropped chinos, and they are AMAZING.

Same details as the vintage chinos, only cut a bit more slim and of course with a higher inseam.

VERY strechy, and SOOO comfortable. They fit perfectly as well.

Definitely considering koppin' in every colour.

I picked one up in my last order for my trip next week. I probably should have sized down however it is a linen shirt so I think it should have some flow to it. Over all seems well made and the material is solid. However they are longgggggg and I'm just shy of 6'3.

I also picked up that polka dot parka it is certainly not a true parka but still hits the mark for a late night chill.

And here's a fit pic of the chinos I talked about in my last post.

Any opinions on this down jacket? I've read some positive posts but not sure if this one has been specifically mentioned. It was 200 to begin with so I would expect decent quality.

I am actually pretty curious about this myself. How are you guys sizing the regular vs. slim fit?

I wanted that sweatshirt and the gray variation so badly. Missed out! Looks great, by the way.

32 x 32
http://www.uniqlo.com/us/store/lifewear/men-slim-fit-straight-jeans/075760-04-033

Really wish these worked out but they are slim!

Front rise ~ 9.5"
Thigh measured from crotch ~ 10.5"
Waist aligned lying flat ~ 17"
19cm

Uniqlo has a good thing going IMO but the low rise really is its undoing. The waist is fine, but because of the low rise, the thighs are almost painted on and the bottoms are basically hanging half way down my butt. I can pull it up but it is even tighter in the top block. YMMV

Not sure if I even want to try sizing up to 33 now. It does have a good amount of stretch according to the fabric content . . .

weird, on their sizing chart, it shows the 32 having a 12" thigh.  Is it really a 1.5" difference? I wonder if that's just their quality control being shit.

I measured at the highest point being straight across from the seams of the crotch to outseam, I got somewhere around 10.5-11"

I already repackaged it for a return. Bit sad these did not work out frown.gif
Seems like I do not fit any pants anymore

Damn, those would have fit me perfectly haha I would have bought em off you

Are Uniqlo nonraw jeans decent? I remember trying on a pair maybe 3-4 years ago and they were too soft to stack so it just bunched up at the bottom.

I feel as though I get decent stacking out of mine. Not quite as crisp as APCs, but not bad. This was with the older, non 98/2 blend though
