Can any of the Uniqlo regulars confirm this is the uniqlo DB trench/rain coat? I have none around my area, and the ones I've found on uniqlo site don't look similar. I'd like to make a phone order, not sure of the name or if this is it for sure though. Thanks!

TBH, I think it would be pretty impossible to confirm from that picture. First of all, AFAIK, Uniqlo doesnt have any trenches in store right. Second, there is nothing that standouts in their trench designs that can be used to easily identify them from a picture.

I was in the store today and they had their trenches out. They have one that looks similar to that and a single breasted mac too. I would go for it since it's only $100. Make sure you get one that's 100% cotton though because they also have them with polyester (which look mad cheap).

yeah, what that guy said above. Get the ones that are cotton. the ones with poly could probably repel rain better, but they don't look as good.

The pic above does look like the DB trench that I have from Uniqlo.

Has anyone been to the Uniqlo store in NYC lately? I wanted to know if they still had their vintage chinos in stock.

Went to Uniqlo today and bought nothing. This years selection is very weak. No more wool slacks as in past seasons. The other selections like sweaters etc.. are uninspired.

Fast Retailing Co., Asia's biggest clothing chain, aims to open at least 200 Uniqlo stores in the U.S. by 2020 as it seeks to raise sales sixfold in a decade....

Fast Retailing, which plans to open its second U.S. store on New York's Fifth Avenue next year, aims for revenue to reach 5 trillion yen ($60 billion) by 2020. The Yamaguchi City, Japan- based company is considering opening stores in other major cities including San Francisco, Chicago and Boston, Odake said.

Agreed.

Additionally, they upped their prices on the $20 oxfords and crewneck sweaters to $25.

The only things I've bought lately are 2 heavyweight flannels ($20 each) and Heattech stuff.

They actually are really warm. Although it's not like the ads where you can walk outside in the snow wearing just a heattech undershirt.

$20 for the heavyweight flannels? That's pretty good, the site has them listed at $39. This is at the NYC store, not overseas?
