Hey guys, I've had to leave nyc for school, but will be back for a few days during thanksgiving. but I haven't been able to go to their store since August, so I had a few questions.

Are all of the items available online, also in-stock in-store? I'm interested in getting some gloves and a jacket or two, but wondering if there are some items that are online and not in store? like the scarves, too.

I also don't remember seeing the mij raw denim at the soho store.. but maybe I wasn't looking hard enough? they might have had it in certain fits, maybe, but I don't remember seeing skinny fit tapered raw.

Finally, will Uniqlo have a black-friday sale? I fucking love uniqlo, and could see myself buying an insane amount of stuff if they have a good sale.

cheers

I'd give it a couple of days, since NYC only recently got back their electricity. Typing the tracking no. in google always works for me, as it can figure out the carrier from the number.

whats up dudes...im got a couple questions if anyone has the time.

What oxfords do you guys recommend regular or slim fit?
Are the casual sprits box pleated or side pleated? and how do they fit compared to brands like jcrew, polo, etc.

Thanks

Coldsnap I'm looking forward to your review of the tasmanian stuff

I was just at the 5th Ave store.  Not all the in-store items are on the website (if they are I didn't see them).  But for the most part everything is online.  In-store stock can vary.  They seem to sell out of popular sizes and colors very quickly.  I saw the MIJ raw denim, but only in regular and relaxed fit.  Then again, they have product scattered all over the place.  I may have missed it.

I overheard an SA talking to another customer.  He seemed to think that the "regular" shirts fit like a slim cut.  And the slim fit fit like a tailored cut.  The product pages on the website usually have measurements on the size chart.  I didn't try on or look closely at any shirts though.

Got a navy pants today in 33 x 34. I really like the material and they are super sharp looking, however they pull a shit ton around the pockets because I have big thighs from powerlifting. If I sized up to a 34 x 34 the leg opening would be too large. Fabric is super nice and it's an insane deal at $39 sale, too bad the fit isn't as good as the +J Wool Trousers we all love. The perfect shape dry pants are still the best cut Uniqlo dress pants to buy, they should make a perfect shape in wool! Good mix between room int he seat and small leg opening.

Thanks dude. Can you post waist measurements for the pants? not sure if I should get my normal 31 or size down to 30. I have skinny thighs so the pockets won't be a problem

I think I have some of the perfect shape dry pants you're talking about, have 3 pairs in the "slim fit" from this summer collection. too bad the tasmanian fit isn't "slim" even though the jacket is

first time uniqlo buyer. really not impressed with the tshirts i got. american apparel is much better imo. but 3 times the price of course. maybe i should try some other products??? feel like i'm getting too old for AA...

You got the 2/$12 shirts?  I don't care for those either, but in the Spring, they have these "premium" tees for $9.90 that are incredible, far nicer than AA.  Definitely check those out if you're in the market for tees.

Jet, did you go with the slim fit UL down? I think I'm going to get one of these, not sure if I should go with the Slim Fit or the Regular.

No it's the regular sized down one, I'm normally a large in high end shit, medium in uniqlo and this jacket is a small. If you want to wear it as a outerwear size down one from your uniqlo size, if you want to wear it as a liner under bigger jackets I'd say size down one and get slim fit though i have not actually tried the slim just looked at measurements.

Bought a flannel in size M thinking the 22.5" pit to pit would be fine for a 41-42" chest (all my other shirts are around that size). Ended up being way too tight due to the high armholes. Just a piece of info for anyone else considering one.

Does anyone have sizing info for the block tech full zip jacket? Wondering if the numbers are misleading like the flannel measurements. Size M measures 23" p2p which should be perfect but I'm wondering if I need to size up to a L at 24.5" p2p. TIA!
