I've personally also seen that drop in fabric thickness, but I do not like the new fit at all for my body type. To each his own. [need more cheap oxfords!!]

I was actually talking about gilded age oxfords that I sold him. they were a limited collaboration. with regard to the regular line, the fabric got thinner but the cut got better. However, the newer ones have a smaller collar which I don't like, but to each his own.

The older oxfords had better fabric but wasn't as slim as the current ones.

Could anyone post measurements for a medium oxford?
Thinking of doing a phone order.

My uniqlo oxford seems to balloon around the lower back area. Anyone have this problem?

It's the center box pleat. I have the same problem.

not sure if you guys have noticed, but the uk uniqlo website posts measurements for their items. just click on size chart for the specific item that you're looking for. pretty useful if you ask me.

Just beware that the actual item can vary from the measurements quite a bit, in my experience.

+1 - and the 'fit's body measurements' are at least as dubious.

So what is the difference between the UJ jeans that Uniqlo is selling currently as opposed to their older versions? I assume quality of the denim has gone down (as has been the theme as of late), but is the fit any different? Really want a pair of black (overdye) T-000, but I can't find anyone wanting to get rid of a pair of the old ones...so I might just have to get a pair of the UJ's.

Was about to phone in an order for a few oxfords. I'm 5'11 and 170 lbs with an athletic build. I'm guessing a Medium would fit but wanted to get some opinions. Anyone with a similar build have any experience with their shirts?

Chest size and shoulder width might be more useful than weight and height in judging fit. In my experience if you're a 41-43" chest you'll want a large, so I'd guess 39-41" would be a medium.
