is it worth proxying even at those prices? i feel like the US will have 1 soon then...and can use suddenlee instead.

Dunno, I'm in New Zealand so I don't really have a choice. btw the proxy i used was tenso.com. Would be grateful if anyone has a cheaper one.

Works out for me since I'm proxying from Canada and I never get nailed with extra fees with EMS. MUJI selection isn't great for NY as well.

Try out SuToCorp depending on the size of your order bill.

I used Sutocorp a lot but decided it was too expensive. I tried out Sharpservice.jp based on someone's recommendation in here, if I remember correctly.

Based on one order, it's a fair bit cheaper (total cost including shipping to Canada of about 30% over price of uniqlo items vs ~50% from Sutocorp), but they seem to take a week longer to send you a final payment request and ship your items after you've initially placed your order. They ship with EMS as well.

Having a terrible transaction with Sharp Service right now.

What color does that +J Shawl Collar Knitted Jacket come in? Is that brown the best color?

Pardon me for the newbie question, but how can a person buy from Uniqlo if you aren't near the brick and mortar. It seems as though they don't have an online shop.
You can't. You must have someone from NYC buy it and ship it to you.

Are the items generally the same between Uniqlo US and Japan? I'm interested in this jacket but the measurements seem huge. I'm in between a 46 and 48, but moving toward the 48 range, but their medium has a 59 cm chest and 49 cm shoulder. Considering I'll probably mostly be wearing it with just a shirt and possibly a light sweater, should I go small or medium ?

If the items are the same in both countries, how much does this jacket cost in the US?

Ive purchased oxfords there and Ive gotta say I was impressed.  Good staff, the layout was great, H&M and the Gap are in big trouble.  Between Uniqlo and TopMan, at far as NYC goes, theyre giving consumers what they want...

Question about the Regular Fit Cords: these seem to be a newer item, but they're practically sold out in NY (they're listed as "New In" on the UK site). Will these get re-stocked through the season, or is that it? Here's the item:

350

And the item page.

I called the Uniqlo help line, pretty sure I got someone India who said the cords wouldn't be re-stocked once they're sold out. Is that correct?

Also, it's impossible to find the direct phone to the 5th Ave. and 34th street (but you can find the # to the Soho store).

EDIT: I should have been more clear when I said "practically sold out" -- I meant for size 34.
