Good Chinese New Year deals. Stocked up on heattech, undies, and socks
post #13817 of 14473

I tried some of the collarless shirts (I guess Uniqlo calls them stand collars) that just came out.

I like them a lot. just so many options on material though.. linen, twill, extrafine cotton, denim..etc

hard to choose.

I hope they make a linen half sleeve one for summer, but for the rest.. which one is easier to take care of? doesn't wrinkle as easily?

Are the supima undershirts wearable as a normal T or are they too thin?

they are good as normal tees.

the ones that are under tees are the airism and heattech, and the cotton ones in packs.

although in Japan, I see quite a few guys wearing airism as the only top during summer

I'm looking for a spring/fall blouson as an outer layer over a tee or a button shirt (maybe even a mid layer in colder months) and this week Uniqlo of Japan began selling this, which translates as Dry Stretch Sweat Jacket

about 4000 yen (maybe 35 usd?) 75% polyester 25% cotton.

or, this two toned quilted jacket from Zara. that's 1000 yen more (4990) or maybe 40-45 bucks

I don't trust Zara's quality in general, since I've had zippers break, threads become loose, and many things discolor fast

but I do like that two tone color pattern and the fact that its 100% cotton.

what do you guys think?

^ That Uniqlo Sweat Jacket looks nice. I have a few of the Uniqlo Dry pieces and they're great.

Will check out that jacket when it releases in the US.

Wow finally Uniqlo releases something I've been waiting for. No more having to wear hoodies.

Appeals to you more than the Zara?

Yes. That Zara thing looks like shit… and as you've mentioned the quality sucks.

Zara's quality leaves much to be desired, not to mention their stuff is relatively expensive.

I'd try out that Uniqlo Sweater Jacket, but I'm curious if it has side pockets in addition to the chest pocket.

the zara design looks a better than the uniqlo jacket though

i stopped by Uniqlo today since one of the members here wanted me to proxy something

Here's the dry "stretch sweat jacket" again in all 3 colors.

I personally like the white or black.

There's 3 pockets. Two stomach ones like a normal sweatshirt , and one top one under the collar

Since the material is thin, I'd probably avoid putting anything bulky in the top one as it'll bulge.

Also the top pocket is hard to unzip

Some Lemaire stuff in the bargain bin. The only thing left are the shawl sweater, cardigan, and crew neck sweater. Its amazing how much the price has dropped

Olive bomber in the womens section. Why does Uniqlo make cooler stuff for the females. Would love a guy version in other colors.

WTF happened to cargo pants at Uniqlo? They were pretty much perfect and now they don't seem to sell them anymore. Anybody know of a viable alternative?

Anyone seen the ugly sherling in store? Would pay if someone can proxy a large for me in this color or wine
