Those were XS slim fits... so I'd say next to try would be S in slim fit, or XS in regular fit. Also note different labels (summer/winter) have slightly different fits so depends which one it was. Uniqlo is fairly consistent in their sizing but they do have little adjustments here and there. For example some have a yolk on the back and others don't which changes the feel even if it's the same 'cut'.

If you're down in NYC ever that's where I do my uniqlo shop and inevitably walk out with piles of stuff.

Better than Airism / Micro Tencel briefs?

No way. The tencel boxers are hands down the most comfortable boxers I've ever owned. I bought a couple pairs last year and became so fond of them that when they finally restocked last summer, I stocked up and threw away all of my supima cotton boxers. Now, of course, I'm wishing I had bought more since they're once again not on the site.

Have you ever worn any of their airism stuff? How does the feel of the tencel material compare?

Anyone proxying to Canada? Found a pair of joggers that I want on the US website, if someone wants to purchase and mail to me, we can work out a price? smile.gif

Agreed, I put my Airism briefs on the back burner and stocked up on Micro Tencel briefs.

I've heard they're a mostly spring/summer item. The Micro Tencel is much more flexible and breathable; they do ride up a bit (but not as much as the Airism).

Nah. I was so pleased with the tencel stuff that I couldn't imagine the Airism being good enough to justify the price hike.

Love the micro tencel briefs. Used to only wear the Airism but those have been mostly replaced

Can someone compare micro tencel and Modal?

Calvin Klein Modal is my go to for underwear.

Has anyone tried on the Convertible collar coat? Haven't seen it mentioned on here, and there's no pictures of any model wearing it, so interested in people's thoughts on it.

there's a sale (in Japan) for 100% cashmere v-neck and crew neck sweaters (from 9999 to 7999 yen).

Most articles I've read suggest to go for merino wool over cheap cashmere.

anyone has experience with both?

how about piling? which has held up better

Did the EU-site disappear?

From the material list, wool is only 60%. Last season it was 65%. I bought mine in 2009 and it was 90% then. Get in now before it hits 50%!

The peacoat was $99 for the longest time which I remember thinking when I bought mine was a really great value for what I got, they raised the list price to $129 this year. I fear this is the start of them going down the pricing model other mall clothing brands use of insanely high list prices with constant sales to get customers to shop as Americans feel they need a sale or coupon to make it worth buying.

Uniqlo peacoats have never been good. I'd stay away from that awful fabric of theirs.
