Got the UU Heavy Gauge Long Cardigan in Medium and I was swimming in it. I may re-order in small but probably not.

This is one massive thread. Has anyone tried their made in Japan denim jeans? Are they true to size? How well do they wear?

anyone own this cardi? description says purple but it almost looks pink...

If this is the same one they were selling last year, it is a bright, hot pink.

That said, if anyone gets their hands on that one in US medium and want to get rid of it, please let me know. I have the same cardigan in green, US small, and would be willing to trade for it. Or buy it, whatever floats your boat.

Just go by the sizing charts. I found that their jean charts are accurate. They are not TTS, it's vanity sized. For example, size 32 measures 34 in the waist.

So they are sized 1-2 inches big. Is it fair to buy slightly smaller size than usual then? I see they only come in 2 lengths. They wear ok adjusted shorter?

Guys, never tried Uniqlo stuff. Are they better at some things than at other things, i.e. their shirts are good, but not their outerwear, etc.? Or is it all pretty decent stuff, especially for the money?

Wouldn't recommend their knits, outerwear, or cashmere. Knits are generally too loose and feel cheap, outerwear is decent but generally a much better deal when they go on sale, and cashmere is nothing special.

All their other stuff is pretty safe, especially for the price.

I really like the oxford shirts. They're probably a little loose for some, but the relaxed, yet not billowy cut makes them nice for casual wear. I think I've mentioned that I wear my blue oxford at least once a week, and it still looks nice even after that much wear and several trips through the wash. Nice collar roll, too, if you wash hot the first time and hang dry.

The flannels are nice for the price. I like the colored jeans I've bought in the past, though the rise is a little low for my tastes these days.

Socks + underwear are great for the money, too.

edit: Nil - If you wanna post measurements to your slim oxford, I can post measurements for the regular oxford for comparison's sake, since they're both a tagged large.

Before my most recent purchase, I haven't either. I walked into one of their stores in HK and it turned me away from purchasing there (Horribly messy, overcrowded, etc). I decided to bite the bullet and order staples, just to try them out. I ordered tees, socks, +J sweater, and chinos. I'll have to say all are worth it for the price. I mean, test them out. If they don't work out, it's a small loss But I am a satisfied customer, and I'll be purchasing from them again.

You can size down but the waist is low rise and doesn't stretch much so I recommend TTS. That is because I am having balls-ache if I wearing size downed MIJ jean's waist too high and sit down.

Fit is nice whether regular fit or slim fit, and fabrics are nice 15oz too.

I carry some weight around my waist and I don't like super skinny jeans and even then I am wearing a 32 for my 34+ waist and it feels totally fine. If you want to split the difference, just size one down. I feel if you bought TTS, you would have pretty loose pants. What do you mean about the last question? i bought 32 and I am a true 29-30 inseam and since they are slim, they stack just fine. 2 inches (for me), isn't much so it's not like you are going to look like some kind of gangster or something.

grabbed the +J down. Thanks to airblaster503 for the recommendation. Definite steal. Definite TTS. I'm usually xs/s/36/46. Grabbed the small and it's perfect.

Can someone confirm that the pictures of the slim ocbd are in fact pictures of the regular ocbd? Slim ocbd don't have a box pleat in the back? If I am a small in the regular ocbd and it is a perfect fit except for being a little blousey in the body, would I be a small or size up to a medium for the slim ocbd? Thanks in advance.
