Any opinions on the +J Oxfords? At $50 a pop I wouldn't mind picking them up if they were a high quality dress shirt.

when i was in the store last wednesday, their buttoned down collars were mostly linen. there were only 2 striped ones that were oxford cloth. that's what the associate that was helping me told me. would have copped if they had blue and white shirts in the thicker oxford fabric.

these are my exact specs. i have a 38-40" chest and a medium fits perfect in the shoulders and sleeves, but you'll have to get it tailored if you want it more fitted around the midsection. has the dreaded back billowing problem.

Thanks Kent, based on that I think a Medium will fit the bill.

Sucks about the billowing, but at $25 a pop I can live with it.

Felt the same, but it looks like the winter may behind us and I wouldn't mind something a little lighter on a day like the one we're having in NYC today.

Are the new shirts 100% linen or a linen blend? Do they wrinkle ridiculously easily like the ones they had last summer?

I was pretty surprised since NONE of my button shirts have ever had this happen. Uniqlo or otherwise. I'm sure I partly got a bit unlucky but still... I'm rather disappointed.

+J stuff doesn't feel like great quality either as far as fabric goes. I only got the trousers for the fit (planning on copying them at my tailor, minus the cropped part).

Can anyone who's been in the NYC store lately pass along what sort of non-indigo denim they've got in stock? I'm looking to replace a couple of pairs because of inconsistent sizing.

^ They have the satin UJ jeans and the regular UJ denim in (e.g. washed styles). They feel really paper thin, and apparently, are the S/S jeans.

That's really about it. Imo, if you're looking for really lightweight denim, get them. I personally wouldn't, as the quality is just ridiculous.

I was thinking more along the lines of the colored denim. I own the S-002's in both black and grey in the same size, but the fit is quite different. The black pair stretched in the waist and feels comfortable in the top block. The greys, meanwhile, haven't stretched at all despite quite a bit of wear. I checked the tag and they're both 100-percent cotton, even though the black pair feels more rigid.

At any rate, the grey pair feels like shrinkwrap in the thighs. I bought the former in 2009 and the greys a year later, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Does anybody have any info on the material this jacket is made of? I know it is a blend. Is it waterproofed/rubberised or teflon coated (sorry if this is laughable given the price)? I am looking for something that uses material comparable to at least Baracuta but in this type of style. Thanks,

Would I be right in assuming Uniqlo doesn't take e-mail orders for the +J stuff?
