need us online store asap
need that knit
Mate - sorry to disappoint you but I scoped it out at the Oxford Street shop yesterday and it's not as good as it seems. The weave is really loose, you can see through it.

I bought this one instead - which is kind of more boring but has a better construction and useful pockets: http://shop.uniqlo.com/uk/goods/073559#colorSelect

I've heard about this place. What do they carry there? I'm about 20 mins from Raleigh.

It's pretty nice. They carry Raleigh denim because they make it in the warehouse in the back.. which reminds me I need to pick up my new jeans. They stock brands like Gitman Vintage, Robert Geller, Band of Outsiders, and some other random brands. It's very small and the stock is limited, but I will say that the dude who picks out the items to stock has a good taste. I try not to go in there much, cause when I do I'm usually out $500.

BTW if you are a size 50 jacket they have a Robert Geller sweat jacket there for $100. It's the really awesome one from last season.. wish it fit me..

Agreed that the first piece is not good.

I haven't seen the second piece in Uniqlo NYC stores yet. Looks good though.

I was in Soho today, pretty sure that they had that second sweater, but it could of been the first one, wasn't paying too much attention.

Oh and btw, this might be of some interest - in regards to the online store.
I managed to see it as well -

This looks good too.

You think this will be available in US stores (should i proxy it from suddenlee, or wait for Uniqlo USA online)?

Also opinions on the khaki color?

Got room shoes and the wool blended pants in today. Didn't know the wool blended pants were UU so wasn't expecting the UU details.. I really like the fit, however not sure if the UU details make it not appropriate for work. Room shoes are hype.

Got the cropped chinos i ordered from suddenly. absolutely love them. the fit is perfect. slim, but not skinny. and the length is literally spot on for me. no cuffs is the perfect no break length, one cuff is slightly cropped for sneakers/low tops and two cuffs is perfect for the cropped above the boots look (sub visvim). With 3% spandex the fabric is super comfy. it's a little thin for my liking and is definitely a ss pant. i only wish they made them in the uvc fabric or a heavier wool or flannel blend, that would be amazing. at the very least, i have an inseam reference point for pants in the future.
