The Uniqlo Thread - Page 731

Does anyone know if the crewneck pocket tee is a seasonal item that will return for s/s?

I searched this thread and there had been some recent talk about it being discontinued.

^ would love to know how sheer the light blue is if you do end up getting one.

Regarding the vintage chinos, i've been wearing a pair heavily as work pants for a year or so and they have held up well. I can't imagine anyone here liking the fit though

J Crew's SS14 looks really good, doubt Uniqlo would improve the direction there headed in.

I think Fast Retailing just wants to fill out their range of holdings. Uniqlo + J. Crew will be their Gap + Banana Republic.

Looks like Tim Coppens and Uniqlo are teaming up...Picture from TC's instagram. Looking forward to this actually.

That was discussed in RFT recently. That was part of an exercise for the CFDA awards competition where the finalists (including Tim Coppens) had to create a Uniqlo-inspired look and present it to Anna Wintours. Google it...there's a video, A$AP Rocky was the model.

Doesn't sound like it's an actual collab going into production, though that would be cool.

It seems at least to me that ASAP Rocky came out of nowhere and designers are just throwing an extreme amount of cloths at him ...very jealous.

Although I'm not a huge fan, he has put in work the past few years and his team is incredibly great at harnessing the power of social media, but that's for another thread.

I wouldn't be surprised if Uniqlo put out a small capsule collection featuring a look from each finalist (or at least top 3: Todd Snyder, Public School, and TC).  Haven't heard anything about any other designer collab for 2014, so...
