Just plain ole' belligerence. There's people in my life that I need to tolerate for one reason or another, so I make an effort to be civil, but they don't do the same. Drives me nuts. There's no reason for people to be so adversarial.

I suppose it would be after 8 pages. Hmm don't know if mentioned but people that strive to be unique and think they but not because a million people are doing them. Examples: tattoos (sleeve tattoos are so unique and tell a meaningful struggle in my life that helped me grow as a person!), self mutilation, etc. I also dislike potheads who feel they have to represent their lifestyle all the time whether it's "420" in their xbox gamertag to always wearing shirts with the cannabis leaf on it. We get it. You like to smoke weed so do alot of people. I guess these aren't really character traits. Just people I hate. But on the subject of traits you dislike, wouldn't complaining about people really be a negative trait? (aside from complaining about legitimate ones like ignorance). Which then makes one hypocritical, two traits people mentioned they disliked. My point is if we're all the same, shouldn't we accept their flaws as you possess them too?

I always strive to do this. In your case, however, I'm willing to make an exception.

You're probably describing people who naively believe that things will 'work out' without any real planning and effort. They just expect going through the motions and being aimless in life that they'll still get there (wherever that place may be).

I wouldn't particularly consider possessing ambition and 'things falling into place' mutually exclusive. People can be very ambitious, and actually expect to have things fall into place at the same time. Usually for those who work out this way, they have the background, watchful planning in advance, and possibly strokes of various luck/chance to err in their favor.

It depends what particular type of ambition you're talking about, as the word can be rather nebulous.

Sorry what I meant was people who say things like "I won't apply to that school, it's full of rich people who are smarter than me", or people who don't work hard at something even though they have the ability because they are happy to be second best.
