also why do they ask if you want to have them done? if it's a cavity wouldn't you want it done? don't you need to or they will grow? i have tiny black things like needlepoints that my dentist wants to remove on my teeth. i'm not sure but i get a checkup regularly and the past dentists just left them there or didn't feel they were urgent. also i used to get free cleaning from my uncle until he passed away but he also wasn't as thorough i guess coz it was free. in short i want the most thorough checkup but i'm not sure if it's standard practice to charge me for those tiny black things.
