I appreciate that, but way before the Gordon Geko phenomenon and association with bankers, it was a very formal option for morning dress. In fact, living in London, it will certainly get some use at, if not else, the tworeformat horseraces I attend every year and in my frequent travels to Italy it would be seen as very sharp.

In fact my question was around using puppytooth rather then Bengali stripes not if to go or not for contrasting collar.

I realize that Marco and, although not a fan myself of these types of shirts, was just pulling your leg. If you are really looking for more responses to that interesting question though, you may want to post it somewhere else or start a new thread, as it's somewhat buried here.
