I love watching Ford interviews. He articulates his thoughts very well. I find him really inspiring as a creative person and a businessman. Not everybody can do both, but he is a smart man.

I've never seen any of his other interviews, but he's was very well spoken and entertaining to watch. What a boss.

Seriously, I've never known anything about TF outside of looking at his stuff but the guy just comes across like a boss. Probably the quietest and most articulate alpha I've seen thus far.

A close friend was his (Tom Ford's) assistant for many years. Even after a few drinks she only says positive things about him. She thinks he is brilliant.

If one own's a label under one's own name ... it would be smart not to sell it ... particulary if one is concerned about one's reputation as YSL obviously is.

That said, it was very tacky of Ford to release this information.

Yes, the article makes clear that YSL dished Ford in public. That too is inappropriate. Still it's tacky of Ford to talk about the content of personal letters.
