Thanks Dbear. Now I just have to place that order and keep my fingers crossed that the gf is not home when the package arrives.

Quick fit pic of the black slim jean in 28.

Waist on these is 14 across the top, inseam 34, leg opening is just a tad over 6, and knee measurement across is 7.

Do they fit TTS or did you size up/down?

Might give up on these and spend my $400 on some black boots. Shame, I still like the style very much.

I talked to someone @ RG and they said that the production model was running a little bigger than the sample. Which isn't surprising, considering the other changes (black vs. white stitching, etc).

Actually, in retrospect, I might have just been trippin'. I think the sizing is right. After lacing them up and walking around in them, they are fine.

I'm about the same.

Tcwalter, I went true to size on these.

Got my first order from RG today and took some quick shots. The waist fits true to size, and the difference between the slim (bleached) and the straight (aged) is minimal.

yeah thanks for the pics, looks good. not sure if they're good enough for me to stray from 19cm's though.

I was able to handle the sneakers while at Roden Gray and overall, they're quite nice. The zipper's definitely tough, the inner leather padding on the high tops are really nice - I preferred the black sueded versions to the black leather ones, and the leather laces are great. The sneaker's are double and triple stitched all around; they spent some time designing these sneakers right.

Not sure why I tripped about the sizing. I put them on without lacing them up anything and of course they seemed big. After lacing them up and doing the zipper, they fit fine. The outsole is actually the same exact size as my JPs.

Top notch construction, imo. The whole thing feels pretty heavy duty. The zipper is big and feels fine zipping it up and down, I don't see it falling off or anything (heard that was an issue in the past?), but I've only zipped it up and dow a few times.

There is an inner placket on the zipper, to separate it from the tongue and the rest of the shoe, which is nice.

They actually feel quite comfy (granted I haven't worn them out yet).
