awesome.

I like the wool mac coats and the bomber. I'd like to pick up another pair of the wool trousers too this fall.

I'm on the fence about the sneakers. I've got an older pair, which are super comfy, but I'm not sure how I feel about the monochrome colorways I've seen.

*edit* for some reason I thought the sneakers were one color. I guess not. okay I don't know if I'm into the captoe

The new ones have a much more attractive toe box. I have a pair of the all white lows on order.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know of any other functional purpose of a non-leather toe box aside from reinforcement?

I really dig the all black highs--been on my must get list for months now. The leather/suede combo, suede laces and the zipper are all good in my eyes.

Roden Gray will have them--I believe retail is $400 for those. High, but it is what it is...CPs are basically the same price @ retail.

Anyone have any idea on sizing?

Holy crap, I'm going to be poor this winter. Does anyone know when W&H usually releases their first batch of F/W stuff?

+1 to bomber.

I wish roden/w+h will use a different model. The dude never looks like he wants to be there.

The brown suede captoes and boots look awful.

Do you have any idea of sizing? Same as CP?

I wear a pretty popular size so I'll want to be able to pull the trigger quickly on these...

- all white lows with white leather captoe
- black side zip highs with white soles
- black bomber is ****
- at least 2 of those washed jeans look great. The raws on the other hand I hope they terribly oversized the model and they're much more slim. Can see why they (ie. raws) will reportedly start at $190 now in comparison to the washed which will all be well over two hundred.
- Looks like some kind of cool unstructured (black) mackintosh styled jacket made of organic terry, jersey, fleece...something along those lines. Hangs a tad low.
- The wooly mammoth flannel which is barely visibly will be a hit..

I'm guessing we'll slowly continue to move in the direction of the MIJ items being the high-end, more fashion forward "re$earch" type stuff while the Made in Canada "heritage" items will be positioned (price point wise, marketed possibly, distributed, etc..) as the 'still' made in Canada 'luxe basics at a comparatively reasonable, or by somes standards, 'good' price point (I've been surprised to see how decent the canadian items have been priced this season..(0). So possibly the made in Canada basics should remain level and with no rise in cost while the MIJ pieces skyrocket to further segment the two outward facing design lines of the company. I do hope they continue to make the nice basics (sweats, tee's, henleys, crew necks, etc) and hope they continue to keep them affordable and in good supply. I've decided that my w+h cotton slub tee (no front X) from this season (have in grey and white) is the best fitting tee I currently own. Also hope they would just leave the X's off the front of the shirts -- we know you're form Canada!!

Agreed. Really hate his pouty/smug/"I just **** my pants" look on his face.

Also, I like the "x" or triangle shape on the crews. Nice detail without adding an over the top branded logo. Not sure what it has to do with being Canadian though.

Wooly plaid and the all black zipper hi's will be must-haves.

The brown cap-toes actually looks pretty nice, to me. I'm not dropping $800 on W+H sneaks this fall, though, and the all black w/white sole will be more versatile.

with the exception of some of the the sneaks, this looks to be the most unimpressive F/W W+H collection yet. hopefully there's more to come.
