FIT is KING: find and list all SHOEs, SUITs, and SPORTCOATs in SF - Page 6

This will take off once a system is devised for items that are non-regular, unlike shoes and coats.

Visited the site today - awesome idea man!

Let me add one more voice to the pack to say this is incredible. I will be happy to contribute as well, if for no other reason than that you'll soon be saving me plenty of time in a day not spent parsing threads.

Feels like this is going to revolutionize the B&S experience. Thanks to the mods for bringing this front and center as well.

As a plus to SF itself, this is highly likely to increase traffic - incentivize sellers to list here more because of a more convenient and likely MUCH quicker movement of product (including occasional, lazy sellers like myself who have to have an excuse to get off their ass), and I can recommend people try out SF now without spending hours trying to find what they need. I feel like the economy is getting jumpstarted as we speak.

Please, please add shoe width and non-dress items, i.e. SW&D. Please. Also being able to search by tagged size rather than only by measurement would be useful for many types of item. If you feel you don't have the knowledge for SW&D, just being able to search by size for pants and shirts would be amazing, no need to learn all the brands and types of cut/material.

It's designed to be there. However, since there is no shawl lapel suits/sportcoats being listed, you don't have that option

Pretty cool. Thumbs up!

This concept is outstanding, I genuinely hope that it takes off.

this is amazing, really hope it takes off!

I agree with all other posts saying that we should be able to sort by listed suit/sc size as well.

Edit: also color and number of buttons

+1 for RSS It will be interesting to see what effect this has on the proposed change from using vB for the forum. My understanding was there would be an overhaul of B&S to something similar to this. I'm sure this will pull a lot of traffic from B&S (and resultant ad revenue used to keep SF servers humming I'm sure). Veddy interesting.

On the new B&S system: I actually did have a conversation with LA Guy yesterday as he let me access to their testing site. The new site is amazing IMHO. They solve many current problem in B&S, however, a couple of crucial things cannot easily be done/fixed (brands, fits), and that's exactly what FITisKING aims to solve. So there is little to no redundancy at the current stage. In short, this will be a long term thing, I will make sure that it works smoothly with the new B&S.

On the impact of FITisKING to B&S: Through the data collected during the first 2 days, I can tell you that it put A LOT of quality traffic to SF (by several thousands of high quality clicks). So yeah, I definitely see this has a good impact to B&S. Sellers may not obviously see it yet, but it's there. (so yes, list your stuff)

On the impact of FITisKING to SF revenue: The majority of revenue for B&S right now is through the stickied fee, those who have large enough inventory would still prefer doing so. So I see the site as putting more high quality traffic to SF (good) without hurting its revenue (good).

PS: RSS feature is added yesterday already.
