I was browsing at chapters today and I saw that Au Pied de Cochon has released a cookbook. For those that aren't aware, it's a fairly unique restaurant in Montreal that's always gotten good reviews. The best way to describe it is comfort food with an overdose of foie gras. If you buy entire lobes of foie gras *cough* piobaire *cough* and want to try something different, I can tell you that the restaurant is quite good and that some of the recipes are probably worth a try.
