Do you have a 'signature-item'? - Page 12

My signature item is probably my watch. I've had for about 7 years at this point. It has a gorgeous metallic blue face and I've yet to see in-person a more intriguing blue.

Why would you care what others think?

Would you go out with someone carrying a gun or a wife on a daily basis?

Will you feel comfortable with that when you disagree ,agree or decide to leave them?

It might OK in part of the US but here it is not sexy at all..

It was in response to a guy carrying a knife and stating his wife doesn't like it...

My signature item?

I have a very interesting scar in the shape of a cigar...

Rolex Day/Date: Gold w/Navy face. My father purchased the watch in the mid 80's and I inherited it 2 years ago. I also have the original Gold face he swapped out. I wear it everyday even if its just for a few hours.

I doubt if I could have a close relationship with anyone who fears inanimate objects, or who thinks that those objects possess magical powers that influence peoples' actions.

Bowing out of the gun/knife discussion now - it is not on thread topic.

.925 Sterling cufflinks (silver only) in "modernist" designs, mostly by Danish designers.

Signature item? Over the years I have had many.

  • Guy Who Wore Western Boots Every Day phase. (This was in the PNW, too. I still have 7 pair left.)
  • Guy Who Only Wore Nordstrom Boat Shirts phase. (All the colors... sigh)
  • Guy Always with Fountain Pen phase. (It gave me great pleasure taking meeting notes with a fountain pen and notepad while others around me clicked away on laptops.)
  • Guy With a Breitling for Every Day of The Week phase. (Uh... no comment. )
Right now, no "signature items" save for a Saddleback bag. I am currently cultivating a Grey Man look.

Working at an office where nobody else wears them, the white linen TV fold pocket square has literally been referred to several times as 'my' signature item. ...
