Of the sandals posted here so far, I think the MMM and CP ones look best. But the OP needs to elaborate on the overall style of his clothing. Otherwise many of the suggestions may simply be wrong for him. There is too much of a tendency to display an attitude of "the one good pair of sandals for summer" as if it were somehow universally applicable.

For example, the MMM and CP sandals are rather austere looking and may not pair the best with some styles. But pair the MMM sandals with MMM clothing and they may really look great! I own several pairs of sandals and rarely interchangeably wear my different pairs with the same outfit. Unless your style is extremely focused, it helps to have several pairs of sandals in varied styles/colors in order to discover the best interplay between the sandals and your summer clothing.

Last summer I bought these Mr. Olive sandals....




For this summer I just bought these wjk sandals. The sole on these nearly resembles a high end boot more than a sandal. They look great when paired with other wjk clothing, but when paired with other brands they are completely hit and miss. They are also available in brown....
