Cchen, is it your experience with these that a guy should buy a half size down as noted in the Zappo's listing? The comments on the Zappo's website seem to indicate that buyers felt the shoe ran true to size.

These are good prices, too bad I already have enough Chucks as it is. I disagree about sizing down as I wear the same size in Adidas, 8.5.

Converse themselves says to size down. And that's not their "advice". They literally have a size conversion tool on their site where you enter your shoe size and they give you the Converse size.

Damn, so I mistakenly thought that I was 8.5 in Chucks, and proceeded to buy an 8.5 from cchen, (I'm an 8.5/9 in Adidas), where in fact I'm actually an 8 in Chucks.

Ohwell, its just a tad loose in the toebox, still stays on with minimal heel slippage.

Where are you in NY? $20 for pickup, maybe? I'm at Morningside Heights.
