How would Montreal be for maybe 4-5 days? Is there enough to do there on my own or would it get boring?

i used to go to montreal for all of the festivals: jazz fest/film fest/reggae fest and had a great time. i would usually stay for 3 nights...that is until canada decided to ban me from the country!!
