Wow, the Burberry fits great for an OTR. You must be pretty close to a 38R Mannequin. My only critique would be that the trousers don't seem to be the same "slimness" as the jacket.

paul smith suits are too short in the arms for almost everyone I know that's tried one, me included. Looks ok on you, maybe having the shoulder rotated burberyy is nice though, better than the PS imo, not a big fan of the ticket pocket on a suit edit: I agree about the trousers being too baggy for you, but it depends on whether comfort or a clean silhoutte is more important to you- personally i'd favour style but that's just me...

Could just be the way I'm standing, or that 90% of the pants are not in the picture. The pants are definitely slimmer than the PS.

It's my first Burberry suit, and I really like the cut. It just doesn't have some of the details I like. Pick stitching, lapel button-hole, kissing buttons. I can deal without a ticket pocket, however I do like it.

is there 6 buttons on the cuff on the PS? my tailor thought that was weird, I agreed so we removed 2 edit: I bet the trousers can go higher on the burberry- might take some of the bagginess out paul smith trousers are always baggy, even with the byard- might want to get them slimmed down a touch?

I tried the Byard on, I couldn't tell that it was cut more slim than the standard Westbourne, I could only tell that the shoulders were massively padded and the whole thing felt worse than the Westbourne.

here's a shot of the pant for the Burberry. I am a tad thicker on the bottom half. So I'm not a perfect mannequin. Haha! IMG_0038 by taylorstav, on Flickr

I agree that Paul Smith tend to be too short/waifish. For a modern/young guy it works well. I prefer the Burberry one for fit, at least. They are both good enough, imo (not being snarky). How thin is that tie, btw? I think, 2" is the thinnest I would ever try to get away with! Both don't look as good as bespoke (a duh!), but for off-the-shelf they look pretty good! Not sure about the shoes though (not my style), I am an elitist! *stands on mountain, with cape

Hahaha I'm with you on the shoes. I threw em on for pictures sake. They are cheap Zara get wrecked in the winter type shoes. Bought em when I was living downtown and walked everywhere.

Mmmmm brown suede would be nice.

The speakers are Totem Acoustic Model One Signatures. I love em! Thanks for the compliments on the art too. I just moved so art is still on the ground, but I finally got a few up today.

Very fond of both suits, especially the Paul Smith, i'm thinking of getting one myself soon and also guys you think paul smith trousers are baggy, ever tried Boss, Tommy Hillfiger, both my suits from there had hideously baggy trousers that required a lot of effort to get looking good and slim

Cheers Nick
