How are they going to transport 100k people a day, to and from that?
They can't build a tunnel to something floating and having boat sailing back and from isn't cost effective, so what a pontoon bridge?
It's not a concern because it will never be built.
A quick app I put together this morning as a response to Todd Vanderlin's AR scratching ( vimeo.com/4312616 ). The app uses the accelerometer of the ipod touch to control the speed of a 'vinyl record' on the ipod screen. Slowing down the record and speeding it up is just a matter of controlling how fast you spin the device.
Nifty! Can any song loaded on the iPod be played? You uploading to app store?
I came across Gart Hustwit's design trilogy documentaries on eztv.it. Well worth a view, especially for those like myself who aren't designers. Perhaps a bit basic for those in the profession.
yes Helvetica is a standard movie they play in school, for good reason. It's great. Objectified was a good one too...I haven't seen the last one but I will check it out.
It's not aimed at kids more than adults lefty, if you are a parent or remember being a kid you know how curious their hands can be. Plus play doh is non toxic so it works well. They also had a chainsaw and some other ones that a child wouldn't even be able to do (pulling a chainsaw chord to start is a job in itself.) I ended up doing a play off of it just kids hands playing with play doh that says keeping hands out of trouble for over sixty years. I'm tossing up between that and keeping their hand out of trouble since 1956.
