I'll be in London in this weekend and I'm wondering where I can go to watch the champions league final. Looking for somewhere with good atmosphere. I'll be staying around Waterloo.

Central London's not the best place to watch the football. The Sports Cafe on Haymarket will almost certainly be packed and has loads of screens, so you won't have trouble watching the match even if it's crowded.

You can get the Bakerloo line from Waterloo to Piccadilly Circus and just walk down there from there (under 5 mins).

A really good pub for football is The Famous Three Kings in West Kensington (http://www.sportspubs.co.uk/new_detail.php?pubscode=161) but it's a fair distance from Waterloo, although the pub's literally next door to the tube station.

This is where I went last March to watch the United - Liverpool match after trying countless pubs to see if they had it on.
