It's interesting how the both Prince Philip and Obama are wearing almost the same outlet, but comparing the trouser breaks- is Prince Philip and SF member?

There is some decent enough dressing on this article from the Daily Mail, but in all the pics, there is almost a complete lack of cuff showing from suit jacket - except from William.

William looks great in this picture, but what is up with Obama's saggy, overlong trousers?

Charles, once again the best dressed. Stunning:

What struck me about Williams (great) suit was the high 1st button buttoning point.

Is there a Saville row lineage for that?

The cut of his suit is a very traditional three button closure single breasted suit in the Savile Row. It's an English thing. Typical of Poole / Dege / Meyer & Mortimer &c.

Thanks!

It is interesting given the conversation in the conservative business dress thread about ticket pockets and conservative business dress
in the UK vs the US to see that Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg's otherwise
very sober suit has a ticket pocket. Perhaps even hacking pockets.

I'm really disappointed to see that the only time Obama's shirt cuffs are showing is when he has his hands raised.

The Royals (William and Charles) are dressed perfectly. The politicians lag behind, even tough I would not say that there is anything outrageous (OK trousers are too long, no shirt cuff showing). However, what really hurt my eyes (as well as those of my wife) was Michelle Obama's dress.

If you think that's bad, look for one of Whnay's posts with Diana's step mother. That was a horror. This is just meh.

Who is that fox on the far right of the formal picture? Hot damn. That's an impressive amount of wrinkles. As for Obama, goddamn, he always wears his pants too baggy in my opinion.

Evening tailcoat. Possibly Brooks Brothers off the peg? Nice that he made the effort, although I think the lapels on the tailcoat look a little skinny, and a shame that he chose to wear a turndown collar.
