Well, Allen Edmonds is a mid-sized company with around 600 employees. I think it is fair game to contact the "President & CEO" of a company of this size regarding issues in one of the company-owned stores. Also, if he joins a forum like AAAC or SF to promote his products personally, he (or his ghostwriter) should also expect to be addressed by customers when issues with products or service arise.
