Just for an FYI I found the Hermes design number 410 EA, to be quite close to the blue and white check tie everyone's been trying to find. If anyone spots a supply please let us know.

Have just seen this movie. . Any ideas as to the maker of the short leather jacket he wears in the airport scene.

According to the interview of the costume designer on www.mi6.co.uk, the jacket was made by Armani, although no model info as yet.

EDIT:Nope just called T&A in NY and they said Brioni did all the day wear. They only did the evening wear. But, the woman told me she'd email photos of similar ties they do have.
Also I love the suit in that B&W scene it's got some velvety texture to it. Perhaps a very fine whale cord?
EDIT2: That's not a suit at all (see gun shot sequence) it's cleary two different colors. I'm going with a suede sportcoat of some type and the pants I have yet to figure out. Jeans maybe?

is this true that T&A did not do the shirts that accompanied the suits? i was under the impression (from various sources, including the costume designer interview posted elsewhere in this thread) that T&A did make the dress shirts.

anyone know? im just curious. i guess if they, in fact, did not produce the shirts than the most likely manufacturer would be brioni? most of the collars do look atypical to what you would normally see on T&A (and more similar to a brioni look), recognizing of course that T&A potentially produces a number of different collar types.

Question about the the infamous CR tie. Is it navy and white or silver? Houndstooth or square checks?

Is the blue shirt he wears in the lunch scene striped or is a a blue-on-blue herringbone?

Striped, from what I recall of the Blu-Ray

I remember Gucci doing that style of shirt. Even had ads with pretty boys in khaki versions wearing them with ties.

The montage is form a tube vidoe. Cool stuff. Was it here or AAAC that I found it originally?

BTW, were Bond's suit s pleated and cuffed or flat/plain? I have the Empire pic as my wallpaper, and it seems pleated. But I've seen some refernces to them as flat front.

See how good a nice ruffled formal shirt can look?
