Today's Hober is a repeat and is the Macclesfield #106 (6-fold construction).

^^ I like that suit and tie a lot individually PP, but not sure I love them together there. Still very elegant (I still like the look) but I find grey monochromatic looks harder to pull off than a similar look in blue and thus my grey ties tend to find themselves worn with navy suits / blazers or sometimes a silvery tie will get worn with a charcoal suit. I think this is largely personal taste but am curious as to your thoughts on the subject.

I agree that monochromatic looks are a more difficult look to pull off. Personally, I think the difficulty is the same for either blue or grey looks. I had worn this tie with a navy suit prior to today (which I liked a lot) and wanted to try it with grey. The safer choice is clearly to pair with navy but I was pleased with today's combo (but I am certainly not unbiased :)). Not sure how it might pair with charcoal but I may have to give that a go. I definitely want to try my silver grenadine with a charcoal suit now that you mention it. :nodding:

Does anyone own one of these? Keen to see how it looks like in real life.

I don't often post on here, but I do own this tie and it's one of my favorites. I don't have a picture of the knot/collar like the ones most people post, but I do have this one

David was kind enough (of course) to make me a pocket square from that fabric, and I really like it. Ideal for summer and pairs well with a few different looks. People wouldn't shut up about it when I wore w/ a blue jacket. The tie will probably serve you just as well.

The picture doesn't do it justice but --

^ Nice. I'm not usually a fan of pocket squares made from patterned silks that are meant for ties, but I think that works.
