A Sam (and David) Hober Tie Appreciation Thread - Page 178

OK.

Thanks for the help.

Ordered 5 ties.

Following the directions here, I added 5 units of 6-fold construction, and in the notes, directed them to make all 5 of them 6-folds.

Should be all that I need, right?

Hober's standard dimensions are 57" x 3.75". If you prefer something else, you should have mentioned that in the notes as well. If you failed to, no biggie, just reply to the confirmation email and let David know--he'll probably get back to you very quickly. Otherwise, enjoy your new ties when they arrive! What did you purchase?

+1

I would email David to make you are clear on what you want for length and width.

Along with what Flyswatter and in stitches noted, in the notes section let David know what tie knot you will use (eg, four-in-hand) and what size tie knot you prefer (eg, small, medium, large).

Then sit back, let David do his thing and enjoy the sh!t out of them when they arrive.

Good advice. I also specify the shirt collar style I most often wear - spread.

Decided to add one more:

I think it will look good with this madder pocket square I have on order from Shubumi: (Might help me win a paisley Friday Challenge.)

That tie/PS combo will go very nice together. Nicely done.
