Just had a look at the burgundy oxford on David's website. Dang, that's a beautiful color. Texture similar to grenadine fina... but presumably without the tendency to snag. Sounds intriguing! I noticed a small snag in my brand-new burgundy fina the first time I wore it. frown.gif

Hmmm...I would have to give a top 5 or 10 list some thought. Maybe a grenadine and non-grenadine list. smile.gif

WRT the king thing, I am sure there are SF members that have a larger collections than I do, it's just that my acquisitions are all fairly recent.

Uh oh, I was afraid of this.smile.gif

I have the yellow gold oxford weave on the way and can't wait to get it. Interesting to me that you make the comparison to the fina. I was thinking they would be pretty similar to the diamond weave, actually glad to hear the fina comparison.

Got my package finally and swapped to a new tie during lunch.

Turns out that unlined, handrolled piccola grenadines are amazing ties. Who'd have guessed?

Sorry about the shallow depth of field. The area in focus really represents the color best, but because of the black warp, the tie does slightly change color with the angle. It feels like it would tie a wonderful knot.

Fair enough, but you do have a great collection.

Awesome! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif thanks for the pic.

I would be shocked if the knot wasn't wonderful. nod[1].gif
