What is the recommended construction for the wool challis? The challis swatches I have feel slightly thicker than the printed silk, but I am not sure it is enough to make a difference.

(An example: Dark Red Pattern Challis Wool Tie #3. Looks even better IRL.)

Hober's grenadines are great! Get the red, burgundy, bitter chocolate and forest green.

Beautiful tie, Stitch.

Which one is it? Is it the bitter chocolate one?

And do you think it would work with either a mid grey or a dark navy suit? (only own two suits...)

Secondly - does Sam Hober make anything close to this RLPL navy polka dot tie? I've got a navy pindot tie, but I like the look of a polka dot tie.

Agree with Stitch, I have worn mine with both color suits, and think it looks great.

Excellent, thanks!

I guess width and length are a matter of personal preferance but for the other options, like tipped/untipped and so on, I have no clue. What choices did you go for on your tie and is there like a "standard" option which looks decent?
